Concrete
Methods
These children learn from what they can experience rather than by merely
talking to them. It is very important to use visuals, tapes, records,
filmstrips, role playing, and dramatization. Avoid symbolism such as the
Word of God is light to our feet.
Story
Telling
They love
stories! It is a good rule not to tell imaginary stories. Every lesson
should be based on the Bible or related church history, and should have a
story quality to it. Be sure to emphasize that these events are real. |
