The servant has a
vital and dangerous role in the lives of those he/she serves. They grow when
he/she does and they mature as he/she does. They see in him/her what they
believe to be the image of Christ. On the other hand a stumbling servant
will offend those he/she serves, hurting their conscience and obstructing
their spiritual growth. This necessitates that we continuously nurture our
spirits in meditations and prayers, with strife and humility, in training to
give. The more we serve, the more quiet time we should spend; and the more
exercise in sacrifice, endurance and self-control we need. It is said that
a sinner repents only when he sees the love of
Christ incarnated in the life of whosoever ministers to him.

(2 Cor 5:20 NKJV) Now
then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us.
List some of the ways by which a servant can harm rather than help.
